For these purposes I will use "Aphanizomenon
flos-aquae" as in the article, but SBGA _IS_ THE algae they

Recently published research project appears
in Chapter 3.1 of the IBC Library Series, Volume 1911, entitled; "Effects
of the Blue-Green Algae Aphanizomenon flos-aquae on human Natural Killer
Cells" "Phytoceuticals: Examining the health benefit and pharmaceutical
properties of natural antioxydants and phytochemicals"
Just for preliminary info.....Killer Cells
are part of our bodies NATURAL immune system, a natural defense against
abnormal cells, including cancerous and virus infected cells.
The punch line of the article is this: Within 2 hours of (sic : subjects) eating
1.5 grams of Aphanizomenon flos-aquae, an average of 40% of the bloods
NK (natural Killer) cells (one Billion) left the blood stream and migrated
into the tissues (where they NEED to be to fight bad cells). They further
discovered that in most cases the NK cells that remained in the blood stream
had 2-3 times MORE adhesion molecules (which allow them to crawl out of
the bloodstream through capillary walls, into the tissue) as they did BEFORE
the Aphanizomenon flos-aquae was eaten. After a few hours, the NK cells
returned to the blood stream.
Conclusion: Eating Aphanizomenon
flos-aquae (in this case SBGA) stimulates the movement of 40% of the bodies
NK cells to circulate throughout the tissues, where their main function
is to perform immune surveilance and eliminate cancerous and virally infected
cells.
Further research may prove that a small
amount of Aphanizomenon flos-aquae (SBGA) every day could ASSIST
in the prevention of cancer and viral infections.
No other substance is known to trigger
such movement of the NK cells in the body.
I am now more certain that EVER that

These tests show that the algae in the lake is usually 99% Aphanizomenon
flos-aquae, with the small remainder being Pediastrum boryanum, a non-toxic

a different algae called Microcystis. We also double check for neurotoxins,

IS

SKIN PROBLEMS
David's Testimony:
The main reason I joined the list
was because Harvey had really bad problems with bald patches all over his
coat. The vet had done all the tests, found nothing and said it was probable

suggestions we took him off Science Diet and started giving him Natures
Choice. This seemed to help a bit, the problem was not getting worse, but
not getting any better either. A number of people including Lyn suggested
something called SBGA
SBGA ? what's that I thought , I
went surfing again and got lots of information about it and decided it
was worth a try. At least it could not do any harm!
Well! I wanted the list to know that
we have been giving Harvey SBGA for the last 4 weeks and in that time no
more bald patches have appeared, and ALL the existing ones have almost
disappeared.
I know that some people have very
strong feelings about SBGA, but all I can say is LOOK at the effect
it has had on Harvey!!! . His coat has improved 100%, and IMO he seems
to be more active and contented.
The demodectic mange is getting WORSE!
Sky is looking worse everyday and the Vet and I cannot make the remedy
that worked so well before work again. And there are so many success stories
with Winstrol, when nothing else worked. I don't know why it isn't working
for Sky anymore. I'm really worried that she is starting a long plunge
toward the end. I will keep her good diet going and give her raw hamburger
whenever I can (I'll get some more tonight) I'll start her on SBGA ...and
I'll pray.

later:
Read and print out my reply very
carefully because Sky is now getting better! She has come close to death
three times now (first Parvo, then DM bout #1, and now DM bout #2), and
she is making it all because of the Winstrol, the diet Rose told me about,
the daily heartworm pills, and the SBGA. (I think the daily Interceptor
brand of heartworm pills might be even better than the daily Filaribit
brand, but Sky is taking the Filaribits and getting better). I think you
might have to do the whole regimen because when I just tried parts of it,
Sky didn't get better and only got worse. She didn't start getting better
until 2.5 weeks after starting the Filaribits and 1 week after starting
the SBGA, which were the last two things I added to her daily remedy.

B, Winstrol, daily heartworm pills, and SBGA. Hugs and wormies a' la Lyn!
Picky eaters:
Has the SBGA helped? I think it has helped
me, Gracie was being a little picky at first, & didn't clean her bowl,
but she got a little of it. Now Gracie is FINALLY eating a lot better...She's
had a lot of adjustment since I went back to work, poor baby.
Right now (8 months) she's going
through another growing spurt. First she gets a little long, then her rear
end gets high & she's running down hill. (That's the stage she's at
now...) Then the front comes up and we're looking good for a little bit....She's
not one to grow evenly!! I know the algae has made a difference, because
she is now anxious for me to get her dinner on the stand for her...Before,
she might go eat a bite or two, or she might just look, and if we were
somewhere else, she might not eat for 2 or 3 days. Her stools & coat
look good, too. I've forgotten to take the algae myself a time or two,
but Gracie gets 1/4 tsp. every meal...and I'm becoming a believer...because
it shows.
