Kelly and Holly were murdered 12/31/87, at the ages of 4 and 9... we miss them so....

We had been in a custody battle with their mother for years..we had joint legal custody...as a matter of fact, we had the girls 4 days out of 7 most weeks, but we couldn't have them every day.

A very irresponsible mother left them alone, while she went off to party with one of her 3 fiances on New Years eve. One of the other 2 boyfriends (Walter Green), in a fit of rage, broke into her house, murdered our two lovely babies, and set their home afire. The mother stated more than once that she'd rather see them dead, than with us. She got her wish....and we lost our hearts......

I think the best thing I can do to be sure that this NEVER happens again if I can help it, is to scream LOUD and FAR about horrible fact of neglectful parents and the results of their actions. Maybe next time, a neighbor will do something before its too late. I have spent many an hour speaking in front of legislative groups regarding child abuse and neglect. I won't ever stop until ABUSE stops.

In the meantime, my mission is to help where I can...my field of expertise is dogs and training, feeding and health. So, here I am, doing my bit. I may not have been able to save our girls, but maybe if I can help save a single dog life, it will count for something.
