Chloes Rescue Story
I just HAD to send a puppy pic of Chloe
for you to view...I promise I'll leave you alone whan I am done
bragging. <G>she was about 16 weeks old here. I had taken her
from a family a few blocks away that abused her..they had burned her
head with a cigarette (as you can see), dislocated her tail
(tremendously painful for her, and took several adjustments and
cortisone shots), pierced her ears, did not feed her, etc etc etc.
So, I stole her. When they approached me, I simply told them that I
would give up my life savings to fight for her...and I would have,
but thank God they left me alone, and moved away shortly thereafter
never to be heard from again.
So Chloe now has a huge 4 bedroom
house, her own Ethan Allen chaise lounge in front of the big screen
TV (which she watches religiously being a HUGE Discover Channel fan)
a wonderful big yard a huge park 2 blocks away with an
abundance of children and squirrels to
play with, a black Lab named DJ to torment and drag across the
hardwoods, and every available stuffed squeaky baby
imaginable.
We are quite devoted to one another...
What an incredible breed of
animal...the only problem? Well, I always sit on the floor and
put my sandals on..Chloe likes to sit on my upper back while I am
bent over, and at 125+ pounds, I am having a hard time not being
broken in
half! <G> I can live with
it...it's quite funny to any onlookers who might be
watching!
Here she is in all of her abused puppy glory..about two days after her abduction and boy, was she ever spoiled already!
I'll attach another pic (recent) I just love to look at other peoples Danes...I am sure that you do too...
Oh Yeah, Chloe has a very low grumbly voice and she talks alot!!! Someone told me that she was probaby a "something-meister Dane" I can't remember the type??? Do you know what the lady was talking about?
