How Does It Attach?

SportsShade™ can be attached to most vans and SUVs in two ways: either the rear door closers or the luggage racks. At each connection point it has a short strap with a snap hook and a long strap with a snap hook. The straps at the awning edge just wrap around almost anything and clip tight or the clip hooks may be used individually for attaching in small areas. SportsShade may also clip on to fences or eybolts and around trees.

Customize Your Banner

SportsShade™ comes with a banner that wraps around, velcros shut and becomes the carry bag. The banner is detachable by velcro tabs allowing owners to remove it and customize it as they please (Customizing by SportsShade @ addl fee). Purchase extra SportsShade Banners - Blue, Red & Black $10.00

The owner has several options for the method of customizing the banner:

1. The first way is to send a form inside of the box for a kit that contains self adhesive premium vinyl letters to apply to the banner. The form inside the box allows several options for font and may be faxed or mailed. The kit recieved contains the self adhesive letters in a tube, an application squeegee and instructions. (Customizing by SportsShade @ addl fee)

2. The second way is to detach the banner and take it to a sign shop or silk screener.

3. The third way is to customize the banner yourself by purchasing kits and material from a craft store.

WEIGHTS (optional)

Weights are $20 per set of (2)
Weight bags for set up on concrete are also available as accessories. The bottom of the weight bag has a non-slip surface. The inside of the weight bag has a clip hook that attaches on to the stake at the end of the guy line. Just fill the bag with something that weighs at least 25 lbs., extend the guyline and clip on to it and adjust the weight bag to a position that fully extends the guy lines.
